Northstar Cafe

Clintonville is an odd little enclave of vegetarian eateries, and that enclave includes the second Northstar Cafe outpost. The place isn't strictly vegetarian, but it features a small selection of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Apparently the Clintonville Northstar has more ample seating and better parking options than its sibling in the Short North. There is indoor and outdoor seating for various group sizes, and the breakfast options are very good according to the Columbus blogosphere.

The lunch and dinner menu consists of various burritos, sanwiches, stir fries and flatbreads. There are salads and baked goods in addition to coffee, tea, juice and a careful selection of microbrews from Dogfish Head, Stoudt's and Unibroue amongst others.

The simple salad consists of arugala, a red leaf lettuce, jicama and croutons in a vinagrette. The Buddha Bowl is tofu prepared with carrots, broccoli, cabbage and scallions in a Thai peanut sauce. The veggie burger is also supposed to be excellent at Northstar.

Check out the pictures below, and try to drag me out to breakfast at Northstar. I never eat breakfast out, so maybe it's time to switch up my routine.
